Décor and design exhibition, the 'Show Room' invited The Green Shed to exhibit. The Green Shed is the Capitals largest used items circular economy. The owners requested SCENE to put the display together and demonstrate studio workshop techniques.
The 99% re-loved exhibit included;
Coastal Moroccan Dining, Boho Living and a pop-up Green Shed Op-Shop.
At the conclusion of the weekend The Green Shed and SCENE decided to sell all the items for charity - approximately 300 items.
COASTAL MOROCCAN
Moroccan styling is all about colour, texture and fluid lines. Intricate, rustic and lush. Coastal is breezy and weathered; tones of turquoise, sea green & aqua.
3 incomplete dinner sets - apple green, moss and sky blue. Wood, glass and clay. Paint Technique: Unicorn Workshop with gold stencil.
Vintage ceiling lights with fairy lights are quick, inexpensive, portable atmosphere lighting. Object clusters create intrigue.
Coastal accessories include earthy textures; wood, cotton, wool, hessian, hemp, straw, bamboo. Large, leafy, tropical used plastic plants.
Exhibit has touches of mid-century modern (1940's-1960's). Faux MCM artwork from Junk Funk workshop. Cost to make $3, sold $45.
MCM sideboard was worn, chipped with water damage. Revamp under $7, duration 5 hours, sold $95. Workshop in later issue.
BOHEMIAN RHAPSODY
Bohemian styling is warm, rich and eclectic. Wood, leather and textured fabrics is typical Boho décor.
An abundance of floor and furniture cushions create a feeling of comfortable lux.
Turn clutter into cluster. Grouping objects and containing items create chaotic order.
Mismatched and embellished. A feast for the eyes.
There's a sense of fun, movement and earthiness that comes with Boho Living.

SECRET GARDEN
A mystic garden with zero care needed. Re-used plastic plants can be an alternative for rooms with little light or homes with no garden space. throw in some alluring items and create a garden of intrigue.
